Sylvie Buscaglia
Sylvie Buscaglia is a co-founding partner of Convergence Avocats and advises clients on real estate law, construction law and spatial planning. She has over ten years of experience assisting private and institutional clients with complex real estate and development matters.
Background
This dual exposure to private practice and public administration provided her with a strong understanding of the regulatory and institutional framework governing construction and land-use matters in Geneva.
Specialization
Before co-founding Convergence Avocats, Sylvie Buscaglia practiced as an associate in two Geneva law firms specializing in real estate law and worked as legal counsel within the Legal Department of the Geneva Office of Building Permits.
She also served as legal counsel at the Geneva Chamber of Real Estate (CGI Conseils), where she taught courses on lease law for real estate apprentices.
Her professional path further led her to work within the Foundation for Industrial Land in Geneva (FTI), where she developed in-depth expertise in the legal and strategic issues affecting industrial and craft zones and real estate development projects.
